Sales are down 50% from last August. There have been only 10 condos and townhouses reported sold in August 2010. In contrast last Augusts recorded sales of 20 units sold may have been in part, due to higher inventory levels. Typically there are around 50 - 60 active listings on the market in any given month; however this summer there seems to be fewer new listings than expected.

I was at a meeting with Dr. Barbara Frisken, Professor and Chair of the Department of Physics at Simon Fraser University last night who was discussing the Starry Nights event at SFU September 18th 2010.
